Dog Training Camp USA is seeking skilled, motivated Dog Trainers who are passionate about helping dogs and owners succeed through clear communication, structure, consistency, and teamwork.
This role is for individuals who already possess strong handling skills and are ready to take ownership of training outcomes while continuing to grow professionally within a collaborative team environment.
Our trainers work hands-on with dogs daily while helping maintain the culture, standards, and leadership expectations that define our program.

How We Lead Dogs
Our training philosophy centers around clear communication, consistency, structure, and respect for the individual dog.
Dog Trainers are expected to:
- Work directly with dogs using established training systems and methods
- Reinforce obedience commands and behavioral expectations consistently
- Maintain awareness of stress, arousal, confidence, and engagement levels
- Adapt handling approaches appropriately to different dogs and behavioral challenges
- Maintain professionalism and composure in fast-moving situations
Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one training sessions with dogs in board-and-train programs
- Reinforce obedience commands, leash skills, and behavioral expectations
- Maintain accurate training notes and progress logs
- Assist with client communication and education when needed
- Support Lead Trainers with evaluations and case management
- Help mentor and guide Assistant Dog Trainers
- Maintain kennel cleanliness and facility standards alongside the team
- Monitor dog behavior, health, and safety throughout daily operations
What We Expect From Our Team
- 1+ years of dog handling or training experience preferred
- Strong leash handling and communication skills
- Ability to safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Dependability, professionalism, and accountability
- Willingness to continue learning and developing professionally
- Evening and weekend availability may be required depending on scheduling needs Ability to work outdoors and remain physically active throughout shifts
