Give Peace a Chance (Exhibit)

John Lennon and Yoko Ono used a "Bed-In" as a way to put themselves and their message of peace in the spotlight between May 26 and June 2, 1969, demonstrating vulnerability and openness along with unrelenting support of their personal beliefs. Through stories and photographs, many never widely-seen before, Give Peace a Chance offers visitors the opportunity to sit on the edge of the "Bed-In" which took place in Suite 1742 at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal. Give Peace a Chance will be on display during "Abbey Road on the River," the world's largest Beatles-inspired music festival, which runs from May 22 - 26 in downtown Louisville.
