9th District Metro Council Candidate Forum to be Held at the Clifton Center

Louisville, KY – The Frankfort Avenue Business Association (FABA) will host a public forum for the candidates running for the 9^th District Metro Council seat on Wednesday, March 19^th from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the Clifton Center’s Eifler Theater, 2117 Payne Street. The candidates will be given five minutes to address the audience, followed by an informal meet-n-greet where attendees can speak with the candidates one-on-one. The event is free and open to the public and will include light refreshments. Crescent Hill Radio will also broadcast the forum live at www.CrescentHillRadio.com.
 

“Councilwoman Ward-Pugh has been a strong advocate for the many independent businesses along the Frankfort Avenue corridor for many years,” says FABA President and Comfy Cow Owner Tim Koons-McGee. “Therefore the business community is extremely interested in the candidates that are running to replace her. We feel this Candidate Forum is a wonderful opportunity for not just our business community but for the entire 9^th District to gauge exactly where each candidate stands on the issues that are important to them.
