Hello from SAFY Foster Care! We are a nationwide therapeutic foster care location, located in 7 different states! In Kentucky we cover 5 different regions- so there are very few people in KY we can’t help with becoming a foster parent if they want to! My goal is to spread awareness of the need for safe, loving, and inclusive foster homes. Even if you personally don’t want to foster, we can still connect! Help me spread awareness by letting me speak to the community you work in, plug in and help sponsor an event we host for our youth experiencing foster care, or just meet to learn more about the work we do and lets brainstorm how we can partner together!

Ashleigh (she/her) began to pursue a career as an End of Life Navigator (Death Doula) in 2020 after losing her father to suicide. A performer and singer since birth, she has entertained and brought others joy through her artistry and theatre for over 25 years. Formerly a Director of Sales and Marketing in senior living she has years of experience caring for seniors, the terminally ill and those living with Dementia. She earned her EoL training through Going with Grace as well as her business training and now serves as an ambassador for the program. 

In her spare time she serves as a board member for Mind’s Eye Theatre in Louisville, KY, volunteers with Hosparus Health (Korageous Kids) where she visits children with terminal diagnoses’ dressed as different Disney characters and she sings at several Louisville metro senior living facilities. Ashleigh also performs in a vaudeville and Burlesque capacity throughout Metro Louisville.

 Kenya Freeman has been named as President/Chief Executive Officer. Freeman has more than 25 yrs of diverse operational experiences involving transportation and logistics, inventory control, order kitting, and fulfillment and distribution “I was born and raised in Louisville, so it is a dream come true to be the new leader of this community-based organization,” said Freeman. Before joining Workwell, Freeman had been responsible for operations at FedEx. He then worked in warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment in Louisville before coming to Workwell as Director of Operations (2017) and General Manager (2020). He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management with honors from Sullivan University.  

With more than 20 years of experience building relationships, I take pride in the expansive network that I've built over the years and the awesome people I've come to know. I work to provide a safe space for all persons, and work hard to help them navigate their IT landscape with proactive, efficient strategic planning.
