Special Community Meeting - PVA Commercial Property Reassessment

Jefferson County PVA Tony Lindauer in conjunction with City of St. Matthews Mayor Rick Tonini and the St. Matthews Chamber of Commerce will host a special community meeting on April 18th at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Matthews Community Center. Lindauer and PVA staff will discuss the upcoming 2017 PVA Commercial Property Reassessment.

The 2017 commercial reassessment included a total of 7,634 parcels. The reassessment area is best defined as the commercial parcles located east of Interstate 65 inside the Watterson Expressway and north of Interstate 64 to the Ohio River and Oldham/Shelby county lines. The area includes parts of Bardstown Road, Shelbyville Road, Frankfort Avenue, Westport Road, Hurstborne Parkway, and Brownsboro Road. These areas have been some of the strongest commercial growth corridors in all of Jefferson County.
