Salsarita's Fresh Cantina Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting

SALSARITA’S EXPANDS IN LOUISVILLE WITH SECOND LOCATION
 
 
            (Louisville, Ky.)—Louisville residents Steve and Pam Stallings will open their second Salsarita’s Fresh Mexican Cantina location this summer at 12915 Shelbyville Road in Louisville’s Middletown neighborhood. The new Salsarita’s location will open to the public in late June and will offer a bright and colorful atmosphere featuring Mexican pizzas, house made salsas and seasoned tortilla chips, cantina combos and Salsarita’s signature CasaRitos – the Saucy Burrito available to restaurant guests in three delicious varieties: Quesarito (burrito covered with creamy queso), Rancharito (burrito covered with a robust ranchero sauce) and Tomarito (burrito covered with warm, spicy tomatillo salsa).
            The Stallings opened their first Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina location six years ago in the heart of St. Matthews in Louisville at 285 N. Hubbards Lane. Fueled by a new corporate team that has paved the way for Salsarita's franchise owners to pursue growth opportunities, the Stallings decided 2012 was the perfect year to expand in the Louisville market and open their next location. This June will mark the one year anniversary of when restaurant franchise veterans Phil Friedman and Larry Reinstein took over Salsarita’s as CEO and president, respectively. Since then, the duo and their team have stimulated growth opportunities by improving internal systems, repositioning the brand and creating a warmer, more welcoming environment at all Salsarita’s locations.
            “The corporate team has re-energized the brand over the past year and has opened up a lot of new opportunities for us,” Steve said. “We’ve been really excited to grow the brand in Louisville, and now turned out to be the perfect time for us to expand.” 
            As deeply rooted residents of Louisville, the Stallings are active in their local community and host regular fundraisers at their current Salsarita’s location to benefit local charitable organizations and sports teams.  Like its original location, the couple plans to foster an inclusive environment in the Middletown restaurant by offering an inviting setting for family and friends to gather. The new Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina location will feature an outdoor patio in addition to the indoor seating area. Guests can also enjoy free Wi-Fi.
            The Stallings plan to open additional Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina locations over the next few years.

            Salsarita’s operates more than 80 locations in 21 states and Puerto Rico. Five to 10 locations will be added in 2012, with long-range projections calling for about 400 locations nationwide within five to six years.
