Halloween Masks
Masks have been a part of many cultures throughout history. They are useful for hiding identities, but also for inciting fear or awe or other emotions. Sighted people tend to depend on the visual for their effects, but textures and shapes can convey emotions as well. Museum staff will guide participants of all ages and abilities as they make scary or friendly halloween masks and headdresses using tactile materials. For adults and children ages 5 and up.
