Event Description:

“My sister Mary is the reason I am a writer,” said Laura Ingalls Wilder, the celebrated author of the Little House books. Come to the Museum to find out about Mary’s richly rewarding life and the challenges she faced after losing her vision a hundred years ago. Sing along with Pa’s fiddle tunes, weave a beaded bracelet like those Mary made, and have some birthday cake made from Ma’s recipe. Dressing as characters in the Little House book is encouraged. Best for all ages.
