DESCRIPTION:Once again\, the designers of Quattra4+ will host its annual fundraiser\, ?Art To Heart\, Jewelry & Wearable Art Collections\,? featuring handcrafted jewelry and wearable art fashions. The event will take place Saturday\, September 26\, 10:00 a.m. ? 5:00 p.m. at The Louisville Boat Club\, 4200 River Road\, Louisville\, KY. There will also be a special Jewelry Preview Party on Wednesday\, September 16\, 5:00 ? 7:00 p.m. at Volare?s Italian Ristorante at 2300 Frankfort Avenue. This event will feature specialty hors d?oeuvres from Chef Josh Moore and specialty cocktail and highlight fashion and jewelry from eight designers with a raffle encompassing eight of their exquisite items. Quattra Designs features the designs of Louisville?s exceptionally gifted art jewelry designers and metal smiths: Roxy Lentz\, Sharon Major\, Lona Northener\, Lesley Rahner Ewald\, and Suzanne Spencer\, designer of hand-dyed silk fashion accessories. This year?s event also adds three designers to the event ? Gunnar Deatherage\, Sarah Havens Millinery\, and Frances Lewis. Gunnar Deatherage\, former contestant on seasons 9 & 10 of Lifetime?s Project Runway\; Sarah Havens Millinery\, milliner of The Kentucky Derby Museum\; and Frances Lewis whose works have been displayed at the Kentucky Art & Craft Museum\, will add a new flair to the event. The talent of each unique designer be on display and feature one-of-a-kind\, handcrafted collectible jewelry and wearable fashions. Partial proceeds for this year?s event will once again go to Heuser Hearing Institute (HHI) and Heuser Hearing & Language Academy (HHLA)\, formerly Louisville Deaf Oral School\, founded in 1948. HHLA is a regional kindergarten program for 3\, 4\, and 5 year old deaf and hard of hearing children who reside in Jefferson County and 19 surrounding counties. This non-profit organization serves deaf and hard of hearing patients of all ages through education and the servicing of hearing aids and products.
