Small businesses\, non-profits\, churches\, and St. Matthews residents are welcome to participate.\n\n\n\nParticipants may shred up to two boxes of documents per household or business. Boxes should be no larger than "banker boxes" or 24 x 12 x 10 inches. Additional boxes can be shredded for a $10 donation. Donations will benefit Brown Park reforestation.\n\n\n\nThis is a drive-through event. Our staff will unload your materials and take them to the shredding truck. Please have your papers easily accessible. Heavy traffic is expected at this event. If you wish to see your papers destroyed\, you must park your car after unloading and walk back to the shredding trucks. All papers will be destroyed on-site\, and the paper fiber is recycled.\n\n\n\nDocuments that should be shredded include those with personal information such as your social security number\, medical history\, utility service account or credit card information\, and junk mail for credit card offers.\n\n\n\nShredding should not be used for non-sensitive documents such as cash receipts and most junk mail.
